Born in Combat Sports, Designed for Women
"I've been training since 2009. Kickboxing, Muay Thai, competition, coaching. It's been my life.
And for sixteen years, I had the same problem every time I walked into a gym: the gear wasn't built for me. The shorts were cut for men. The fit was wrong. The materials didn't move right. Nothing reflected what it actually felt like to be a woman who fights.
I wasn't alone in that feeling. I'd seen it in competition - on the floor, in the changing rooms, at every level. Women who trained like athletes, showing up in gear that wasn't made for them.
The idea came from old fight footage. Fighters wearing custom-made skirts over their shorts. Powerful. Personal. Elegant. But those pieces were rare, tailor-made, and out of reach for most women training every day."
"So I made my own.
The first WKW training skirt was handcrafted in Bali from premium silk-satin with built-in performance shorts. It was designed to survive real training and still look like something worth wearing. It offered something that didn't exist: fightwear built for the female body, without sacrificing strength or elegance.
That skirt became the foundation of WKW Active.
Today the collection is growing - more silhouettes, more editions, more women wearing it in gyms and rings around the world. But the belief behind it hasn't
changed.
Strength and femininity don't cancel each other out.
They never did."
