Some ideas come quietly. Others arrive with a feeling you cannot ignore.

This photoshoot started as a small, slightly wild idea.
We wanted to bring together a few women from the WKW community and create something different from our usual women kickboxing training and Muay Thai sessions.

Something more raw.
More instinctive.
More connected.

That is how we found ourselves in Nuanu City, at a place that feels like it exists between nature and another world.

A place where nature and experience come together

Alpha Wolf Lodge is not just a location. It is an experience.

Set within the creative environment of Nuanu, the lodge combines nature, design, and a rare opportunity to connect with wolves in a calm and respectful setting. It is known as the first and only wolf lodge of its kind in the southern hemisphere, offering immersive experiences that go far beyond a typical visit.

Here, guests can interact with the wolf pack in different ways. Walking with them, observing them, or even sharing moments like photoshoots, nature walks, or quiet time in their presence.

The space itself feels like a retreat. Surrounded by nature, with open areas, gardens, and a peaceful atmosphere, it invites you to slow down and become more aware of your surroundings.

It is not loud, not rushed. It is something you feel...

Women, wolves, and a natural connection

During the photoshoot, something unexpected happened.

The interaction between the women and the wolves felt natural. There was no fear, no force, only presence and awareness. The wolves moved around the women with calm energy, and the women responded in the same way.

It felt instinctive.

As Mark Baker, founder of this place, shared with us, the wolves often connect strongly with women. There is a different kind of energy, a sensitivity, and a calm strength that creates trust.

We could feel that during the shoot.

There was a sense of respect, both from the women and from the animals. A quiet understanding that did not need words.

A different kind of strength

At WKW Active we often talk about strength through training. Through women kickboxing training, Muay Thai, boxing, and movement.

But this experience showed another side of strength.

Not the loud or aggressive kind, but something more grounded. Something calm, present, and deeply connected.

The kind of strength that does not need to prove anything.

For many of the women, this moment felt empowering in a different way. Not because of performance, but because of presence.

Bringing WKW into something more primal

This photoshoot was not only about clothing or visuals.

It became a reflection of what WKW stands for. Women who train, women who feel, women who grow, and women who connect with both strength and softness.

Whether it is through boxing training, kickboxing training, Muay Thai, or a women retreat, the core is always the same.

To feel strong in your body. To feel confident in your presence. To stay connected to yourself.

This experience at Alpha Wolf Lodge reminded us that strength can also be quiet, intuitive, and natural.

A story we carry forward

What started as a small idea turned into something much deeper.

A shared experience between women, nature, and instinct.

A reminder that strength and femininity are not opposites. They exist together, naturally.

And sometimes, when you step outside of the usual environment, you discover a different side of yourself.

One that has always been there.
